Christmas 2009

What does it mean for families this year?
Of course, every year has its ups and downs, for some more than others, but we are looking at significant changes for us all going into 2010
 – the Emissions Trading Legislation for one and the selling of significant Queensland assets by the current Queensland Government for another.
However rocky 2009 has been and however we view 2010, Christmas is a constant reminder of timeless optimism and hope.  It brings families and communities together and reminds us that there is usually someone worse off than us;  we can always find somebody to help and support.  It is the season of goodwill, if we choose to take up the message.  God bless.
