Coming along to a Christmas in July dinner enables you to enjoy the “trimmings” of the Northern hemisphere’s Christmas dinner in cool, crisp weather . . . As opposed to our country’s actual hot, steamy Christmas weather.
On Saturday 21st and Saturday 28th July, Birches Restaurant at Mt Mee have put together a wonderful menu for their “Xmas in July” evenings.

July2012_COUNTRY MUSIC ON THE MOUNTAIN, July 7th

The swinging band “Lights On The Hill” presents an evening of mainstream Country music and other popular tunes from the 60s and 70s at the “Mt Mee Country Night” in the Mt Mee Hall on Saturday evening, July 7th, from 7.30 pm until late.

Booking is essential, both for catering purposes and to ensure plenty of room for dancing. Book individually or get up a table of eight or so – phone Kay on 5498 2104 or Joyce on 5498 2270.

Janina Liddell will be conducting holiday art workshops during the upcoming school holidays. The workshops are suitable for children, adolescents and adults and are held in her studio in Samford.

The St Lucia Orchestra presents: “SPOTLIGHT ON THE ORCHESTRA”
The ever popular Mt Mee Sunday afternoon “Symphony on the Mountain” series begins in the Hall this year on Sunday May 27th from 2pm. We apologise to Dayboro district residents yet again for the unfortunate clash with “Dayboro Day” – but as in past years the Orchestra’s schedule left us no room for movement.
The title of the concert means just what it says
