Mt Mee Roadworks Update
The Department of Transport and Main Roads have been undertaking reconstruction works along Mt Mee Road, near Duncan Road and Ocean View, throughout this year.  I am now pleased to announce the work, predominantly involving better stabilisation and pavement repairs, is scheduled for completion by the end of September.  Unfortunately, one lane will remain closed through the work sites while reconstruction remains underway.

Aug2014_DICKSON TO HONOUR ANZAC CENTENARY

Four local RSLs will benefit from $125,000 of Commonwealth funding to support a number of local projects commemorating the 2015 ANZAC Centenary. 
Peter Dutton, Federal Member for Dickson, has said that this funding will allow the RSLs to carry out unique and thoughtful projects to honour the centenary of the ANZACs and ensure that their memory lives on in our community.

Aug2014_Responsibilities for sewer repairs in the Unitywater service area

Unitywater is reminding plumbers and customers across the Sunshine Coast, Noosa and Moreton Bay local authority areas about their responsibilities when faced with a sewer pipe blockage or fault.
Executive Manager Infrastructure Services, Glen Babington, said Unitywater wanted to ensure customers did not incur unnecessary costs to rectify problems that should be fixed by Unitywater crews.
