The Salthouse Clan has increased by three in just over a month.  They have added a Grand-daughter, a Grandson and a Great Grandson.

Moreton Bay Regional Council has been hosting digital camera workshops across the region’s libraries this month.  There is one remaining workshop available, i.e. Bribie Island on Thursday 29th November at 10a.m.  Bookings are essential and can be made by calling your nearest library.

A small insect, known as the leaf-mining jewel beetle (Hylaeogena jureceki), will be released in locations around southeast Queensland to help fight the spread of the exotic weed cat’s claw creeper.

At the October VIEW Club luncheon Heather Foord gave an interesting talk to members about her career as a newsreader for Channel 9 and family life.

TRIVIA NIGHT – 24th NOVEMBER
The next Dayboro Police charity trivia night will be held on Saturday 24th November at the Dayboro Bowls Club with a Christmas theme.  Teams consist of 8 per table and if you would like to nominate please contact me at Dayboro Police Station.  To help make the night a success we would also appreciate donations of items that can be used as team or raffle prizes.  Funds raised are directed back into the Dayboro community.
