Nov2014_OPEN GARDEN on Nov 29 & 30

Greenwood opens Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th November 2014 – 10-00am to 4-30pm, at 50 Greenwood Crescent, Samford Valley.  Coffee and cake will be available on the verandah overlooking the garden.  Plants, African bags, jewellery and jams will be on sale.  Money raised will go to Nakuru Hope.  The Nakuru Kenya Family Project provides food, education, refuge and counsel to people who are destitute, hungry and illiterate.  For further details, www.opengarden.org.au/regions/qld_calendar.html

Nov2014_Pine Rivers VIEW News

The Pine Rivers View Club held a very successful annual Games Day at the beginning of October.  Doris ,who organised the day, presented prizes to the winners Bessie and Joy.  The 16 members and 4 granddaughters showed their skills at tiddlywinks , quoit throwing, tenpin bowling (with a twist) and other non lethal games!

Request For A Fire Water Main.
I feel this is very important to all parents whose children play and train in the Dayboro Showgrounds precinct.
On 29 June this year, I lodged a customer request with Moreton Bay Regional Council and UnityWater and, to date, I have received two phone calls from UnityWater (and they didn’t seem too interested) and one call from MBRC reminding me that anything to do with water is now a UnityWater matter.
