I, along with many others, attended a public meeting earlier in the year regarding this proposal.  At that meeting the representative of the group making the proposal was unable or unwilling to provide any real details of how the scheme would work, let alone how it would benefit the community.

For all of you with cattle and other grazers, it is during spring that our herbivores struggle.  At this time of year there is little to no nutrition in the bit of grass or standing straw you may have in the paddock.

Bob and Lorraine Salthouse welcome grand-daughter Heidi Rose Rayward, born August 26th to their daughter Amy.  After 6 grandsons, Lorraine thinks having a grand-daughter is wonderful. Heidi was born on Uncle Luke’s birthday.  Bob and Lorraine now have 28 grandchildren

Riley Graham Hansen a son for Leanne & Joshua Hansen of Cedar Creek born 16th July 2008 weighing 3390gm at North West Private Hospital.

Archer Leo Herron was born at 9.45pm on 21st July 2008.  His proud first time parents, Lorna and Daniel Herron of Kallangur recently brought him to visit grandparents Errol and Rosslyn Herron of Cedar Creek, to help celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary.  Archie rewarded them with a smile.  He enjoys the outdoors and loves watching the trees and birds.
