Shortly after 9.00pm on 7^th September a window was broken and entry gained to the Matilda Service Station.  No property was stolen and two offenders left the scene in a white sedan.

Mt Mee Style

The Mt Mee Sports Association Incorporated will be holding a Melbourne Cup Day fashion parade and luncheon on Tuesday 4th November 2008.

We put thought into things we write down.

We weigh up the pros and cons as we sit and think and write. Step by step we get closer to exactly what we want.  When it’s all written down we feel the relief of having gotten it together. It’s good, it’s exactly what I want.

The weather gods continue to smile on the Mountain and we have had some very useful rain since last column.  Grass is good, water is good and the livestock happy.  This has not been our spring song for years!

Michelle Hogan and Luke Smith have announced their engagement.  Michelle is the younger daughter of Jan and Mick Hogan of Bardon.  Luke is the second son of Diane and Grant Smith of Kobble Creek.  Luke and Michelle are planning a May wedding.

The real issue needs to be addressed

I am writing in response to two letters on the donation of dogs from Logan City Council to the University of Queensland published recently.

I would like to shed some light on the extremely sad situation that Logan City Council has been faced with.
