Between 5th and 9th June entry was gained to a number of classrooms at the Dayboro State School.  There was damage caused, including graffiti.  
On 17th May a mobile phone was stolen from a vehicle parked in Jagera Court, Mount Samson.

June2015_Mt Mee Ramblings

We are still enjoying a wonderful autumn on the Mountain.  There has been enough warmth and moisture to keep things going, although as I write we have a very cold snap and I am huddled over a heater.  But, it is mid-May!  But the sombre news is that el Nino is back.  Sometimes el Nino hasn’t treated us too badly, so let’s hope that will be the case this time.

June2015_Anzac Day at the Samford Historical Museum

Beautiful weather and visitors started to arrive early.  Cups of tea/coffee with Anzac Biscuits was a very popular pit stop. Charlie was kept busy sharing his knowledge and know how on information relating to our Anzacs.  Martin and Michael in the blacksmith shop were kept going displaying their knowledge on the forge.  One of our younger visitors, Georgia Fitzgerald of Samford was fortunate and happy enough to don a replica of a Viking’s outfit, worn around 1000 to 1200.  This very heavy and impressive outfit was made by Martin.
