Last month I reported it was the 12th, sorry about that. For anyone interested in trying out lawn bowls, this is a good day to come. Ring me on 345 1754 if you would like to attend.
Our August Financial Day was generously sponsored by the Anton Brown Funerals. Anton attended at lunch and presented the prizes. Beryl Nicholson’s team won on the day. Males Baker and her team were runners-up. Marilyn Oliver was the lucky winner of our main raffle, and Leila Melville and our own Shirley Enchelmaier took home the fruit trays.
At our recent AGM Jackie French was elected President for the upcoming year and Shirley Enchelmaier was awarded a Merit Badge for her 24 years of service. Well done Shirley!
