Aug2012_TWO NEW LIFE MEMBERSHIPS AWARDED AT DAYBORO SHOW

This year’s Dayboro Show incorporated the awarding of 2 new life memberships.
Bev Johnson received her Life Membership badge at the Official Opening ceremony in the Main Ring on Saturday, 7th July 2012.  Bev Johnson (nee Wirth) has been an exhibitor since childhood and, since moving back to Dayboro from Clontarf, has taken on a stewardship role in the Needlework section, and has always willingly assisted the Ladies Auxiliary with catering, usually at last minute notice, for many years.
Ryle Winn’s badge was presented in the Woodchop arena just prior to the final of the Championship on Sunday afternoon, 8th July 2012.
Ryle Winn came on board as Chief Steward of the Woodchopping Section in the mid-1990’s and has built the programme up to what it is today, including the prestigious State Championship for the Combination Chop.
