The Dayboro & District Rural Fire Brigade meet the 2nd Wednesday at 7.30pm of each month at the DDRFB Station on Laceys Creek Rd.

We currently have around 25 operational members and 5 support members. We conduct scheduled training and maintenance days.
Welcome to our newest support member, Adrian Surplice. Adrian has been a Dayboro local for 12 years and has a military background.
Congratulations to Janet McCabe and Ian Kenman on passing your crew leaders course. Another good reason to have cake and celebrate.

All Fire Permit Applications must be signed. Your application can’t be approved without your signature. Please check this before submitting your application.
You can download an application for a permit to light a fire at www.ruralfire.qld.gov.au then select the ‘Using Fire Outdoors’ button. Just don’t forget to sign it!

Janet joined the Dayboro Rurals in 2000 and has decided it was time to move up in the rural ranks. In March this year Janet completed her Crew Leaders course.
When she is not volunteering her time to assist the trainees Janet loves racing her motorbike at Willowbank Raceway.
