Dear Editor,
In a desperate need of a “break” we thought we should try Dayboro’s own travel agent, Dayboro Travel.
I rang Penne, gave her our brief:  “We want to take our dogs with us.”  Within 24 hours we were booked for our little adventure.
We had such a great time, which is why I want to let the people of Dayboro and districts know what a service we have in our town.

Thanks again Penne and Dayboro Travel.
Nola and Terry Rankin, Dayboro.

Dear Editor,
The Salvation Army would like to express its heartfelt thanks once again to the very generous people of the Dayboro District.
Firstly our door knock volunteers collected over $1030 for the Saturday 28th Appeal, then a first time effort collecting at the Dayboro Day Festival resulted in achieving $907, thanks to approval by Maria Hansen and the Progress Association Committee.
Then the recent Dayboro Show yielded a very generous $1005, thanks to Alison Taylor & the Show Committee.
So a very creditable $3042 has been given to community welfare and social work across Australia.
Although final figures for the National Appeal have not been declared yet the increase of 25% across the Pine Rivers Area reflects great concern for many disadvantaged and needy people.
Thanks sincerely,
N. Ken Beer Major, Zone Director Kallangur.
