April 2010 . . POLICE VISIT TO LEAD Childcare
– Dayboro Little Farmers
On March 3rd 2010 the children and staff at LEAD Childcare – Dayboro Little Farmers were treated to a visit by Petrie Police Officers.
During this visit they were all able to wear the police vest and hat, with a big highlight being when the sirens and and lights on the Police vehicle were put into action.
The Police spoke about all the different equipment and the uniforms that they wear as well as speaking about “safety”. This included road safety, what number to call in an emergency and who we shouldn’t talk to.
At the end of the visit the children all received special stickers and balloons to take home.
