Moreton Bay region will be full of free family fun during May for the 2010 Pine Rivers Festival.
Featuring seven events running Saturday May 22 to Sunday May 30, the festival will kick-off with the cultural celebrations of The Hills Carnivale.
Another highlight will be the roar and rumble of racing cars at Lakeside Park for the TopGear Race Day on Sunday May 23.
Rodz Rock ‘n’ Roll (Saturday May 29) will see more than 300 classic and custom cars roll into Strathpine and plenty of live music and dancing with tributes to The Beatles, Johnny O’Keefe and Buddy Holley to name a few.
There will also be a 1940s celebration, BMX and skateboard competition, art and craft market day as well as the Moreton Bay Region Art Awards exhibition.
Pine Rivers Festival will wrap-up with the annual Dayboro Day celebrations featuring live bands, entertainment, amusement rides, wheelbarrow races, pie eating competitions, craft markets, antiques and a street parade.
