Beris and Melda Blake, long time residents of Mount Samson, celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary together with seventy family and friends in the Foundation Room, Arana Leagues Club on the 6th March.
Melda’s family (nee Kunde) are some of the original settlers of the Mount Samson district.
Beris and Melda were dairy farmers for many years having taken over the family farm from her parents Ernest and Dorothy Kunde in 1974. They retired in 1997 and are thoroughly enjoying their retirement playing bowls, caravanning and cruising.
