Apr12_Urban Country Music Festival Ambassador Announced
The countdown to this year’s Caboolture Urban Country Music Festival has begun with the official launch at the Caboolture Historical Village.
Talented singer-songwriter and 2010 Independent Male Vocalist of the Year, Luke O’Shea, was named the 2012 Urban Country Music Festival ambassador.

Luke will join some of the hottest names in Australian country music when he performs at the 2012 event.
The Caboolture Urban Country Music Festival will feature two star-studded concerts on Friday May 4 and Saturday May 5. Tickets are $55 per night or $100 for both concerts.
It will also be the first time the event is held undercover at Caboolture’s new Queensland State Equestrian Centre.

The Caboolture Historical Village will again host a number of free events where the village’s old buildings provide the perfect nostalgic setting for live music, dance workshops, activities for the kids and country markets.
The Songwriters Café is just one opportunity of many opportunities to get up close and personal with some of your favourite country artists, enjoy acoustic performances and hear the inspiration behind their songs.
Old favourites like the Beaut Ute Competition, the Voice of Urban Country talent quest, Bush Poet’s Breakfast, Urban Rodeo and the whip cracking action of the Stockman’s Arena are also back.
There’s really no excuse not to be a part of Caboolture’s 2012 Urban Country Music Festival. There’s something for everybody.

While the festival is close to a number of accommodation locations in the heart of Caboolture, camping is available for those wanting to make the most of their Urban Country weekend experience.
The festival is proudly presented by the Moreton Bay Regional Council and sponsored by Caboolture Shire Herald and the Queensland State Equestrian Centre.
