Call for Artists
Artists working in Photography or Photo media of any type and /or Video are invited to exhibit their work as part of the Queensland Festival of Photography – a biennial event, to promote Art Photography in the Moreton Shire.

Artists working in Photography or Photo media of any type and /or Video are invited to exhibit their work as part of the Queensland Festival of Photography – a biennial event, to promote Art Photography in the Moreton Shire.
The invitation is extended to Grade 11 and !2 Visual Arts students in Moreton Shire working in any Photo media.
The exhibition will take place at venues and business locations (i.e. shop fronts/cafes) in and around Samford and Mt Glorious. This event will showcase Moreton Shire Art Photographers and will be officially advertised on the Queensland Festival of Photography website. Artists and Students can add this event to their CV. A Map will be available for viewers to observe the Artworks on foot. A drive to Mt Glorious will provide more Artworks to enjoy
in the form of video screenings and installations. Viewers may also enjoy the beautiful rainforest walks and cafes for lunch.

Artists are requested to submit one or two images in jpeg format and a short artists statement via email by March 25th. (Artists may still exhibit after the due date is spaces are available – so contact Athene as soon as possible. Ed.) Artists should reside, work or study in the Moreton Shire.
The festival will commence from April 7th and run until May 6th 2012.
