From the 15th August, Act 1 Theatre Inc. will be presenting their new show ‘Phantom of the Music Hall’ which is a comedy set in White Chapel, just before the turn of the century.
A phantom who does not like pantomime is currently residing in the Music Hall when it is taken over by the new owner, Mrs Worthington. The new owner is convinced a pantomime is the only way to make money, so she organises the cast and they begin rehearsing ‘Cinderella’.
The efforts of the cast to convince the phantom that ‘Cinderella’ is a melodrama, and not a pantomime, are hilarious. The play sets out to prove that everyone sees things differently, even ghosts and phantoms.
Act 1 Theatre Inc. will be presenting this show as a theatre restaurant which will include a three course meal.
Venue: Act 1 Theatre, Old Shire Hall, Gympie Rd, Strathpine.

All shows are 7:00pm for a 7:30pm start.
