Featuring in July as our Artist of the Month is John Chapman. Gallery member for the past six years, John, who lives at Kobble Creek, has exhibited with Queensland Festival of Photography, Pine Rivers Artists Alliance Exhibition, Moreton Bay Annual Art Awards, Moreton Bay Art Photography Event, and at local restaurants.  

 

He believes that this month, those attending the gallery are in for a special treat.  His works will be themed around ‘Water’, and poses the questions:

 

Is water special to our lives? 

Is it meaningful? 

Is it dangerous?  

or 

Is it artistic? . . . .

 

Dayboro Art Gallery is supported by a co-operative group of local artist members who open the Gallery 7 days a week, from 10.00am til 3.00pm.  We invite all members of the public to come and see the variety of artworks displayed at gallery, to meet our members, perhaps buy some works, or seek some advice or tips around your own interests in art.  So please, come along in July, help John answer his questions, and support your local artists through your interest.
