LADIES BOWLS MARCH FINANCIAL DAY: This day was to be sponsored by Councillor Bob Millar, however due to early morning rain it needed to be cancelled. We thank Councillor Bob for his ongoing support, and will now hold his day in May.
FRIENDSHIP DAY 23 MARCH 2014: These days are lots of fun and a good way for you to find out if you like the game of lawn bowls. You do not need to be a bowler, just come along with flat shoes and bowls can be provided. If you would like to put your name down or find out more information phone Edna on 3425 1119.
NEW MEMBERS: We have pleasure in welcoming new members to the Ladies Club – Carolyn Hasemann; Marcelle Simonsen (husband Ben); Ilma McKenzie (and husband Jeff); Meredith Darvill; and Margaret Carrington (and husband Eddy). It is pleasing to see our Club growing.
NIGHT BOWLS THURSDAYS: Look out for the notices for when these are on. If you would like to come and play, all welcome. It is much nicer playing in the cool of the evening. Bowls can be provided for new players. Sausage sizzle 6pm. Play 6.30pm. For more information phone the Club, 3425 1374.
FRIDAY NIGHT MEALS: Fortnightly 6.00pm to 8.00pm.
WEDNESDAYS: Ladies day, but men welcome. Morning tea at 8.45am and play at 9.00am; 21 ends. The new time is a trial up to Easter, for those who just want a short game, please let Games Directors know on the day. Cost is $5 to play. BYO lunch. All welcome.
