SUPANEWS FOR STRATHPINE GO CARD CUSTOMERS
POOL OWNERS WIN RED TAPE REPRIEVE:

Now pool owners who upgrade or repair their pool barriers will no longer need to submit a building application.
Mr Trevor Ruthenberg has applauded these changes

“This is a win for pool owners and a win for common sense.”
“Previously, a building application had to be submitted for any pool fencing works involving more than five metres of fence or six fence posts.”
“Allowing these jobs to be inspected by a pool safety inspector will save Kallangur pool owners between $350 and $900.”
Mr Holswich said there remained a range of repairs and maintenance that pool owners could do without supervision, for example replacing only two fence posts.
However, a pool safety inspector will need to be engaged prior to work beginning on more extensive jobs.
SUPANEWS FOR STRATHPINE GO CARD CUSTOMERS:
Pine Rivers commuters can now buy, top up and change the expiry date of their go cards at Strathpine’s Westfield Shopping Centre.
“Customers can buy, top up and register their go cards, change an expiry date, and obtain a refund or a copy of their last ten transactions at the newsagent,” said Mr Holswich.
Mr Gaskin, Managing Director of Supanews Retail, said “We sell go cards in many other Supanews stores, and we understand how important it is to be able to quickly top up your go card with a retailer who can answer your go card questions.”
As well as selected retailers, customers can access go card services from ticket offices and fare machines at train stations and major bus interchanges.
For more information about the go card and to search for retail locations, visit the TransLink website at translink.com.au or contact the call centre on 13 12 30, anytime.
