Coming along to a Christmas in July dinner enables you to enjoy the “trimmings” of the Northern hemisphere’s Christmas dinner in cool, crisp weather . . . As opposed to our country’s actual hot, steamy Christmas weather.
On Saturday 21st and Saturday 28th July, Birches Restaurant at Mt Mee have put together a wonderful menu for their “Xmas in July” evenings.

Christmas Fare with Flair features a combination plate consisting of Roast Turkey Breast with cranberry sauce, honey glazed Leg Ham and Roast Port with crackling and all the traditional trimmings. Other main course choice options to choose from include Grilled Barramundi served with garlic King Prawn sauce; Rack of Lamb served with red wine, mint and rosemary jus; or a Vegetarian option of Fresh Spinach and Ricotta Cheese Crepes served on a fresh tomato cream sauce and topped with sweet potato strips!!
For dessert try the Traditional Plum Pudding served with chef’s brandy custard, or one of the other lighter options. These include Orange and Grand Marnier Ice Cream served with a warm chocolate sauce and toffee shard; Crepe Suzettes served with an orange liqueur sauce; or Pavlova and fresh fruit salad!!
Complimentary chocolates and home made treats will complete your meal. (Menu may be subject to slight changes.)
The evening is not just about the food though. From 6.30pm there will be great entertainment provided by Band “Just Jack” and friends.
