It’s Official! Mount Mee State School has Queensland’s Best Principal!

Congratulations to principal, Trevor Buchanan, for representing Queensland as one of only 8 finalists in the 2011 Primary Principal of the Year Award. Hosted by The Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership these awards were held in Melbourne on October 13.
This prestigious national event provides an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the nation’s most talented, innovative and inspirational school teachers and leaders.
It’s satisfying to know Trevor has been acknowledged for his exemplary skills and unwavering commitment to meet the needs of all the young students at Mount Mee State School.
In the time he has been at this small school of 83 students, he has managed to have a big impact by sharing his expertise and inspiring long-term change, with excellence in teaching and learning his core business.
