Apr2011_BACK FROM THE JUNGLE
Sue and Ian Flinders have returned from their latest adventures – trekking in the Borneo and Malaysia jungle.
We encountered native Orang Asli with their blowpipes, looking for their next meal, and not surprisingly there was little wildlife along that track! But deep in the forest we were shown one of the Rafflesia flowers, the largest species in the world, which is a parasitic plant that only blooms for six days every few years.
