DAYBORO DAY AWARDS
Nominations close Friday 6th May 2011.
Nomination forms are available from Dayboro ECU Office, and are to be submitted, in writing, before May 6th to:

Resident of the Year Award: The “Resident of the Year Award” shall be awarded to a member of the community in recognition of a significant contribution to the Dayboro District Community. Submissions may be made from individuals, groups or organisations that have strong links with the Dayboro district. Each submission should provide details of:
1. Nature of the contribution; 2. Benefit to the community;
3. How and when it was achieved; 4. Personal effort involved; 5. Any other supporting information.
Young Achiever Award: The Young Achiever Award shall be awarded to a person under 25 years of age as at 31st May, who resides in the district, for outstanding personal achievement. For example, achievement could be in any of the following fields: Academic, leadership, sporting, cultural activity, citizenship or community involvement or other relevant areas. Submissions should provide details of the following:
1. Nature of the achievement; 2. How and when it was achieved; 3. Why it was an outstanding personal achievement; 4. Any other supporting information.
Business Recognition Award: The Business Recognition Award will be presented to a local business (postcode 4520, 4521) not necessarily with a shop front, who support community events, give courteous and prompt service and is making a difference to their business and the community. Details required are along the same lines as for Resident of the Year Award (see above).
