Queensland Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Awards 2009

Carolyn Male MP, Government Whip, would like to advise that nominations are now open for the Queensland Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Awards.
“The Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Awards recognise individuals, government and non government organisations whose innovative and exceptional work has contributed to the prevention of domestic and family violence,” Carolyn Male MP said.
“Nominations can be made in any or all six categories – Individual, Partnership, Community Organisation, Children and Young People, Government and Indigenous.”
“If you are aware of, or have been involved in an initiative or activity that deserves recognition, I strongly encourage you to submit a nomination. By doing so, you will help to raise awareness of the tireless and often unseen work that happens in our communities every day.”
