Golding Contractors are this year providing a new opportunity for young leaders between the ages of 14 – 27 and community organizations that work with young people to Stand Up and Be Counted in this years Queensland Regional Achievement & Community Awards.
The Golding Contractors Youth Leadership Award will reward either a young person with effective leadership skills, innovation or commitment to excellence or a group/community that mentors and provides opportunities for young people. By nominating in the Youth Leadership Award this year you are able to reward our leaders of tomorrow and our community groups providing hope to our young people.
The Regional Achievement & Community Awards will be calling for nominations in the following seven categories:
– The Salvation Army Employment Plus Business & Employment Award
– The MacAir Airlines Events & Tourism Award
– The Coffee Club Arts & Culture Award
– The Bartercard Regional Service Award
– The Golden Circle Environment and Landcare Award
– The Golding Contractors Youth Leadership Award
– The Kleenheat Gas Community of the Year Award
The awards are proudly presented by Southern Cross Ten and the Departments of Main Roads and the Department of Local Government through the Blueprint for the Bush Strategy. The Awards are also supported by Queensland Country Life.
Prizes include either a $2,500 Commonwealth Bank AwardSaver account or Television exposure on Southern Cross Ten.
