Dec2014_ Do you Bee-lieve?
‘Lollipop Land’ is a much-loved, magical suburb of the North Pole where the fairies and the elves make all of the sweet things for the whole, wide world!
This enchanting Christmas art installation is re-created annually by visual display artist Jule Barten and original doll artist Chris Boston with each display even bigger and more exciting than the year before. It is like going to see the best Christmas windows imaginable, only you get to come inside.
Whilst Lollipop Land is a visual feast of colour and excitement, it is more about the feelings that it invokes in its visitors, guaranteeing to spark the imagination of both young and old. It’s fun for the whole family and make sure you bring your cameras to take your Christmas photos in the Enchanted Forest! See the Marshmallow Castle and the Lollipop Garden and discover all of the new stories and hand-sculpted characters in this year’s display.
Delicious Mammino gourmet ice cream will be available in the Lollipop Land gift shop, as well as gingerbread, lollipops, Christmas decorations and Lollipop Land souvenirs.
With easy parking and disabled/pram access, why not make a day of it and take the time to explore Old Petrie Town? Browse through the historical village, the museum and the shops; walk through the parklands and see the 350 year old Fig Trees.
