Holland Price & Associates is a relatively new local accounting practice in Dayboro operated by husband and wife team Scott and Christy Price.

When asked why they set up a practice in Dayboro, Scott said “Simple, there are a lot of individuals and business owners who have to travel outside of Dayboro to their accountant.  Instead of working in the city ourselves and wasting time commuting, we offer our services here”.  

We asked Scott and Christy why people should choose Holland Price as their accountants “We tell our clients to deal with people that are happy to see you, as it shows that they are passionate about their work and care for you, we think we tick that box.  We try to see our clients face to face as much as possible and that is a big advantage in having a local accountant especially for our business clients.”

Scott advised that Holland Price & Associates offer a range of services apart from your standard tax returns and business accounts.  Services include business health checks, business set-up advice, self- managed superannuation funds and a bookkeeping service.

Where clients require advice outside of their expertise Scott said clients can also take advantage of their relationships with specialist city advisors in law and auditing.   

Scott believes the best advice you can give to a business owner is to “Prepare a proper business plan from the outset and then keep referring to it.  Do lots of research, set realistic goals and don’t be afraid of change or failure.”

When Scott and Christy are not running their business and keeping up with their two young children they provide their time in various Dayboro based community organisations.
