AUGUST FINANCIAL DAY
Once again our Patroness Edna Wruck and husband Des sponsored this day. Edna always puts a lot of thought into her days and is very generous in donating all the prizes. Each year Edna gives 11 gifts of colourful towels. Numbers are drawn out and 10 of the gifts go to players with one going to the workers table. Everyone has a great day.
Spiders went to Marion, Deception Bay and Jenny, Pine Rivers.
Raffle kindly donated by the Brisbane North District Ladies Bowling Assoc. bottle wine plus $20 went to Dawn, Dayboro. Second prize went to Bret, Brighton. Third prize went to Ettie, Pine Rivers. Fruit and Veg raffles went to Norma, Dayboro and Jean, Pine Rivers.
Thanks again Edna and Des for your support. We really miss having you there too Des.

Unfortunately this year we did not make the Semis. Division 3 almost did. Division 4 tried hard. Well done to all players and better luck next year.
FRIENDSHIP DAY WEDNESDAY 24 SEPTEMBER 2014
These days are lots of fun with lots of good food too. $5 to play. 9 a.m. m/tea. 9.30 a.m. play. This is a good chance to try lawn bowls with bowls available at the Club. Just wear flat shoes. If you would like more information or like to register, contact Edna 3425 1119.

Ladies day but men are welcome. 9 a.m. m/tea. 9.30 a.m. play. $5 to play. BYO lunch. Once again, if you would like to come along and try the game of lawn bowls, bowls can be provided, just wear flat shoes.
