Do you want to meet some new friends and at the same time help raise funds for needy Australian children?  How about joining Pine Rivers VIEW Club.  We love welcoming visitors and new members.

We have a luncheon meeting ,with an interesting speaker, on the third Wednesday of every month at the Murrumba Downs Tavern. On the first Wednesday of the month we have an outing and on the fourth Wednesday we have a “Coffee and Chat” morning.  You are welcome to just come to the luncheon meeting or to come to all three, it is up to you.

VIEW clubs raise funds for The Smith Family foundation and their ‘Learning for Life’ program. We do this by asking everyone to make a $2 donation at every function they attend and also from some Bring and Buy tables.

VIEW was established by The Smith Family foundation to offer women the opportunity to have their voices heard on national interests and to have an opportunity to provide a service to their community. The ‘Learning for Life’ program is run by The Smith Family and supports the education of disadvantaged Australian children so that they can create a better future for themselves.

While helping our community we also have the opportunity to meet regularly and make new friends.

At our November meeting our speaker was Karina , the Education Officer from RACQ. She gave us a most enlightening talk on “The Road Ahead —- age related road safety issues”.  We also had a most successful Bring and Buy table.
