Notice to Ocean View Residents March 2009

In the wake of the Victorian fire tragedy, we are conscious of a heightened sense of concern in our own community over how well we are prepared if an event of that magnitude were to happen here.
In light of this, we are holding a Fire Awareness Day at our premises on the corner of Townsend Road and James Road, Ocean View, on Saturday 21 March 2009 at 10 am.

The programme will include practical demonstrations of equipment and products designed to assist householders in protecting their homes, as well as valuable advice on topics such as evacuation planning.  Fire officers will be available to arrange an on-site risk assessment with interested property owners.
The event is open to all Ocean View residents at no charge, and lunch will be provided.  For purposes of catering, it would be appreciated if you could let our Secretary know if you are coming (Rob Humphreys ph. 3425 3716).
