Nationally acclaimed dog trainer, Justin Jordan, is bringing his much sought-after Dog Obedience classes to Dayboro, setting up camp at the Old Mill Animal Hospital.  It’s a big coup for dog owners in the region who have, until now, had to travel to Rothwell or down to Park Ridge to access Jordan’s award-winning training skills.

With a maximum of eight participants per class, to allow for individual attention and focus, the training team is ready to take on the cheeky pooches of Dayboro, come December.  The first ‘term’ of classes kicked off on Sunday 6th December and each term runs for three weeks.  The beauty of enrolling with Jordan Dog Training is that each dog has a lifetime entry into the Dog Obedience classes, so you can return with your dog for a refresher course as often as you both need.

The courses cover walking calmly on a loose leash, coming when called, being attentive and focused on you even when there are distractions, and re-learning the basic commands of sit, drop and stay.  All handlers must be wearing enclosed shoes, and should bring treats or toy rewards for your dog. Head halters and flat collars are best, as harnesses and choker chains are not accepted.

Classes run 9.30am to 10.30am each Sunday morning, and will start up in the new year again from Sunday January 9th. The team will utilise the lush grounds of the Old Mill Animal Hospital at 3546 Mt Mee Road, Dayboro.  Parking is via the normal clinic/pet and livestock barn driveway.

Bookings are essential, and can be made directly with Jordan Dog Training on 0422 600 774.                                             *
