2015 Dayboro Police and Dayboro Scouts Charity Trivia Night

Twenty five teams battled it out for the trophy.  The eventual winners were the ‘Animal Asylum’ team from Old Mill Vets.  Thanks to the generous support of those attending on the night and sponsors and prize donors a total of $10000 was raised.  This will be split with our co-hosts the Dayboro Scouts.  If you have ideas on how the Sheriffs Fund can benefit the community as a whole, or assist individuals who may need some support please contact me at the station.

Traffic incidents

Unfortunately over the last month we have had two single vehicle fatalities on roads in the Dayboro Police Division.  Please take care on the roads over the Christmas break.

Property Offences

On 11th November a vehicle which had been left on the showgrounds access road for several days was stolen.  This car was located at Rocklea.

Between the 3rd and 4th October a caravan on acreage at Mount Samson was broken into but no property stolen.

Between 8th and 9th October entry was attempted to a shed in Banmore Court.

On 4th October 5 wine barrels were stolen from the corner of Winn Road and Andrew Road at Mount Samson after they had been used at a function and were waiting to be collected.

If you have information in relation to these or any other offences please contact Dayboro Police Station 3425 1200 or Crime Stoppers 1800 333 000.

Christmas best wishes

On behalf of Paul and myself and our families I would like to wish you all a safe and happy Christmas and New Year.   Looking forward to another great year for Dayboro in 2016.
