Council sets up recovery group

(Nov 27)
Moreton Bay Regional Council has set up a disaster recovery group to help coordinate responses to damage caused by mid-November storms.
The series of storms between November 16 and 20 left a trail of devastation in Moreton Bay region from the Hills District, through Narangba and Burpengary and across to Deception Bay and Scarborough.
Cleanup activities are expected to continue for up to a month, due to the amount of debris involved.
