Apex Update March 2009

apex_brand_-_colour.jpgHello there, Happy New Year to both of our readers. Not a lot has happened so far this year but this Update is to alert you to forthcoming events that loom large on the horizon..
The first event will have happened by the time you read this, Clean Up Australia Day is set for 1/3/09 and should be a distant memory, hopefully the scouts/joeys had a great day and if there were any spectacular finds I’ll add to the next article.
The Dayboro Fire Alarm/Battery Replacement Programme is running again, scheduled for 4th and 5th of April, see advert for further details, and talk to the ladies down at the ECU to book whatever time suits.
Dayboro’s ugliest bar staff will be out and about at the Show grounds on the 28th of March to welcome all to the Show Bush Dance – they all come from good homes but something went astray somewhere. Anyway they won’t be mistaken for the contestants.
Many thanks to the crew at North Pine Printing for the spectacular job they did on the new Directory, anyone looking for a “definitive” calendar could do worse than checking the back page of the Directory. (Sorry Tracey)
Finally all those of a nervous disposition should avoid the fun and frivolity planned for the Valley Vibes musical afternoon at the Crown Hotel 21st March (see below). All free and in aid of promoting the Apex Club of Dayboro, you might even witness the secretary doing his dance of the demented dingo.
Cheers
Mark Rushton
Secretary.
